Hafeez Meeruti sahib aur Aligarians kii khidmat mein salaam.
Very recently the news of a young girl from Panchkula , Ruchika’s sucide has raised many issues and one of them is that to term it as sucide is incorrect as it was a well thought out, cold blodded murder when a powerful man went all out to bring her and her family to such circumstances that she lost her will to live because of her having lost the courage to face an uncalled for social disgrace at her school as well as her immediate society.

This sher of Hafeez Meeruti sahib portray the plight of this tragedy stuck Little girl and her family.

Ajeeb lo`g haiN kyaa khuub munsifii kee hai
Hamaare qatl ko kehte haiN khud-kushii kee hai

……………………………………………. and this seems to be the message for all those who forced her to kill her self.

Isii lahuu meN tumhaara safeenaa Duubegaa
Yeh qatl-e-aam nahiiN, tumne khud-kushii kee hai,

And once again Hafeez Meeruti sahib leaves a message for those who are fighting for justice in this case

SimTey baithe ho kyuN buzdiloN ki tarah
Aao maidaan meiN GhaazioN ki tarah.
