Wow…its superb…excellent…and..we can use many more supermative word for this..sweetest Taraana..its a Soul of Aligarians.Its a wonderful tribute to our founder father by an Aligarian(Asrar-ul-Haq Majaz).

Aagar ye website urdu main hoti, to bahut achcha hota. kum az kum aligarh walon ko is baat pe sochna chahiye. Ummeed ke is per ghour kiya jayega.
Really its the most beautiful& melodious song on the earth & every one can see the true reflection of Aligarh in this “tarana”.
I am sorry if I am wrong anywhere to express my feeling here with this very ’shair’that Its applicable for all the Aligs -”Main woh mitti hun jo chak ki gardish mein asir, tu agar hath laga de to sanwar jaoonga”

If it was not the AMU, today I would be a farmer in a small town in U.P. Thanks to Sir Syed and his vision, today Aligarian are all over the world achieving greatness and bringing credit to their alma mater.
It has been a long time since I left Aligarh (1970) with few dollars in my pocket. I was not sure I would be happy in America, but with the passage of time I got seasoned. I made peace with my decision to become a U.S. citizen. For new comers, the transfer of loyalty is gradual and unconscious. In my view loyalty is the love of country, pride in it, and readiness to make sacrifice for its best interest. I have learned to love the country of my choice more sincerely. As an American, I have achieved successes in my career that a person of my background would never have imagined. As an American, I also become free, independent and proud.
Also, thanks to my mother who had the vision to move all my brothers and sisters from our small town to Aligarh for education. In her memory, I have contributed a small amount to the AMU Scholarship fund which is professionally managed by the AMU Washington Chapter. I encourage all Aligarian to join this great effort. This is one way we can pay back our debt to AMU.
The short and long version of Tarana has touched me very much. This is the most beautiful and inspiring song.
Just one suggestion: please consider inserting full English translation below each line. I will print it in color, framed it and give it to my son as a gift.

I dont think any country or institution has a trana better than our trana. we all aligariyans should selute Majaz for that. at least we should offer fateha to him. May Allah bless his soul. amin
i really dont know what to write in the praise of this gr8 composition….but it really gives a sensation which is so full of energy n it makes all of us remind of our Aligarh days n its existance…….with this Tarana lots of storys are related of my Aligarh boarding days….since my school days til the last day of my college!!!!!!!!n it became a memory for me as we were the last batch who got the opportunity to sing the Tarana with the other university boys in te literary function of Tamseel and Meezan.. in the year of 1985 so its not a Tarana only for me but its the age which is still going on n moving on with my life……i am always short of words to express my feelings for the Tarana……as there are always unspoken words…in life,,,, though i am trying to write my emotions dipped into this meloldious composition of our gr8 and beloved shayar majaz sahib…may Allah bless his soul with finest life there….i love this tarana coz it always provide me a window to peep into my stay at Aligarh which has never become old…and still its so aromatic that my soul get perfumed ..when ever i get tuned to it……thanx to Muhib sb who has given us a page to write our emotions…..may Allah bless Mohib sb with finest every thing in life !!Farzana siddiqui
Nice to visit this site. Aligarh tarana reminds my father his days in University and it gives same feeling to me. As long as this song play, i got all my memories of university and feel that i am sitting somewhere in campus.
I left aligarh in 1987. My wish to visit university once more in my life and spend atleast a day in my hostel Hali hostel MM hall.
