In the words of ghalib Dekhna Taqreer ki lazzat ke jo usney kaha main ne yeh jaana ke goya yeh bhi merey dil mein hai and the other and equally important is the sheer lyricism of majaz's poetry. there are very poets who were able to combine the ability to talk to people about their own dreams, and desires and aspirations without sounding didactic, without talking down to them without sounding like a messaiah and a preacher. Majaz had this ability. Of the accounts posted it is no wonder he had all of Ismat Chugtai's friends in college idolising him.
