pehle tum waqt ke maathe ki lakeeroN se milo
jao footpath ke bikhre hue heeroN se milo

ishrat-e-husn mein masroof to rahte ho magar
waqt mil jaye to ham jaise faqeeroN se milo

phool hansaa, royii shabnam
apna apna jazbaa-e-gham

husn wo hai jo aaye nazar
dil ko ziyada, aankh ko kam
