Tina Sani (Sahni)rendered this magical nazm very well. However, Iqbal Bano´s ´Lehja ´cannot be copied. Orchestrization of this Nazm was really not necessary. I wish Tina had sung this without any instrument.

Thanks for the great website.

Wanted to point out a correction to the Urdu transliteration of Faiz’s “dasht-i-tanhai” in the third line, last word…. should not be ‘kitne’ but ‘tale’.

For all those calling it a “ghazal”, this is a “nazm”, not a ghazal.
