jaun elia’s poetry has the indepth pain of losing something specially the deep pain after going away from his beloved home land. specially when he says
‘kya tumko main yaad nahi hoon ganga ji or jamuna ji , mai bhi tumhara hi sahil tha ganga ji or jamuna ji,patte bankar aisa bikhra waqt ki pagal andhi me, aaj mai apna sognashi hun ganga ji or jamuna ji.’
or when he say
gali ne hamari ya kah ke sabr kia , jaane wale yahan ke the hi nahi.
