They were all Humanists. If you want to see the similarity between poets then check the poetry of Rabindra Nath Tagore and Faiz Ahmed Faiz and you will see the impact of Tagore on Faiz. Where Tagore left the lines Faiz Ahmed Faiz picks up. Its like a torch that was lit long ago and has been passed down the hands. Nazms and Lines of Faiz and Lines of Sahir Ludhianvi and then the Lines of Kafi Azmi. And please do not make comparisons between the lines of Great Poets . They were all Humanists.
