sach maiN !!!!!!!!!! le gaya cheen ke kaun aaj tera sabr o qaraar/ be qaraaree tujhe ey dil kabhee aisee to na thee…….kiya khoob bayaan kiya hai dil kee is kaifiyat ko,,,shayad akhree mughal se behtar koi or is kaifiyat ko bayan karne se qaasir hee rehta…or jis khoobsoortee or mellow tone maiN is kaifiyat ko awaz dee hai wo Mehadi hasan sb se behtar shayad hee koi dhal sakta..i love this ghazal coz it really shows n one can always feel the iner voice of not being spoken the way…some times one used to ..what we are some times really unable to put ourselves in words…….sirf be chain hoker or kasmasaker hee reh jate haiN i wish…….as words can never be the substitute of ones feelings though what better way..could there be to express oneself….apart from the verses..but how ever deep we pour ourselves into words …we all are still so short of words!!

However, it would be more better if the lyrics are given in Hindi
This is a great compliment for Mehdi Hassan sahebs fans like me
My great grand father was brought by British to fiji some 200 years ago but I still speak Hindi at home. Since I like gazals I have basic understanding of Urdu but the words used in this gazal was bit difficult for me. Anyway Hassan sahab’ jis bhao se pesh kiya’ i understood the whole meaning. Now this translation will help me greatly.
