Meena Kumari’s ghazal is fantastic. A 78 prm gramophone record was cut and sold in seventies.

Could some friend give link to Mehfil mein jal uthi shama parvane ke liye from film Nirala starring Devanand and Madhubala?

I n poetry, poet’s not only garments the language with words interwoven, with emotions, spirituality, worldly affairs of common man struggling for his existence in the materialistic world, he also give his life and breath to the words which are dead in language!!!!!
