Have you listened to Jagjit’s and Abida’s rendition of the same?
I think Abida’s rendition is simply brilliant. It has that requisite depth and darkness that goes with the couplet.
I think no one can much Mehdi Hassan’s rendition of this beautiful ghazal. it totally absorbs the listener, taking one to another realm altogether
