My heart is un-settled like the tresses)

tirchii nazraaN suuN dekhnaa hans hans
mor se chaal tujh niyaarii hai

(Looking with the slanting glances and smiling
Your gait is more pleasing than the movement of the peacock)

Lailaa Majnuu kaa zikr sard hu’aa
ab tumhaarii hamaarii baarii hai

(The story of Laila Majnu is forgotten
it is our turn now)

milnaa aashiq suuN har bahaane suuN
ye nasiihat tuman hamaarii hai

(Meet the lovers on every possible pretext
