I neither belong to Aligarh nor am a native Urdu speaker. I’m from Kerala, South India. Its more of the love and attachement towards this lingo literature in decline than of knowledge of this lingo which brought me closer to Urdu over the years. Welcome to Aligarians.com and thanks for the kind words. I would really appreciate if you would point out the typos in future.

The book I copied the nazm from has ‘aatii’. I would try to cross-check in other books if possible. But you are right, ‘aayii’ seems apt here.

In the fourth misra, shouldn’t it be “aayii”, not “aatii”?

I’ve discoverd this site recently, and am very impressed with its good design and content. please accept my compliments.

I haven’t seen many typos so far, but if I notice any, I hope you won’t mind if I point it out.
