Has no one yet suggested to you that you should post gazals in Hindi lipi rather than English? It’s too cumbersum to read Urdu in English… That actually kills the beauty of the poem…
Think about it…. I am just avoiding this beautiful site for this single reason only…
Thanks for the message, Vivek saahab.
Actually, no one has suggested to post Ghazals in Devanagari although many people have suggested to do so in Persian script. The best option would be to do so in all the three scripts. Here is my position on the issue:
1.) Unfortunately due to time constraints, I am just able to compile Ghazals in Roman transliteration, it is not possible to do so in any other format.
2.) Roman transliteration is chosen because most of our visitors are comfortable with it. If I use Persian script, I would be leaving out those visitors who can’t read the script. Same is true for the Devanagari script.
3.) If someone can compile these Ghazals in the other formats, I would be more than happy to post them. Some visitors have sent me Ghazals in Persian script and I have posted them.
