Doesn’t anybody screen these “poems” before putting them on the net??
Totally below standard.
Dear Zaidi saahab,
Thanks for your comment.
Since Ghazals of Jan Nisar Akhtar are not upto your standard sometimes, I understand that you have set it quite high. As you might have noticed that I have been posting Ghazals of relatively unknown poets recently. Some people have appreciated them, some might have not.
I found this Ghazal fresh as well as zamiin difficult. I am sorry if did not measure upto your expectations.
Hope you would like future Ghazals and Nazms.
Thanks,
Mohib

Waa….h!
Ghazal Thiik hii hai. Sajaab! pata nahiiN ko’ii nuqte ki gaRbaR hai ya kuchh aur. sahaab bhi fit nahiiN ho rahaa….and another thing that ghazal was of Hamdi Kashmiri (pronouced Haamdi) I checked it. He, I think, this year got the Sahitya Akademi award.
“meri aankh meN vo saraab haiN teri yaad ke…”
saraab: mirage
savor the long, flowing vowel sounds.
Faiz has a lovely line, with similar flowing effect:
“dasht-e-tanhaii mein ai jaan-e-jahaaN larzaaN haiN
teri aawaaz ke saaye, tere honToN ke saraab …”
