kisii bhii moR pe ruknaa kab gavaaraa thaa mujhe
merii anaa kaa ta’alluq faqat mujhii se thaa

tamaam umr maiN DhuuNdtaa rahaa rafaaqat ko
maiN sharmsaar bahut us kii dostii se thaa
(rafaaqat : friendship; sharmsaar : ashamed)
dil-o-nigaah bhii aamaada-e-sujuud rahe
merii jabiiN kaa ta’alluq bhii bandagii se thaa
(dil-o-nigaah : heart and the sight; aamaada-e-sujuud : in prostation; jabiin : forehead; bandagii : worship)
the bad-gumaaN sabhii merii zaat-e-vaahid se
magar sukuun bhii us shah’r meN mujhii se thaa
(zaat-e-vaahid : single being)

Kindly correct the poem. It is totally “be-behar” with “saktha” in every verse. This does not leave a good impact of the people who are running the site.

There were a couple typos which I have corrected. I don’t have the original source of this Ghazal available with me right now. I would be really thankful if you could please point out the mistake and I would surely correct them.
