Naveed my son has left some comments.i was in freindship with Fraz for almost 15 years.He was man of principal,Of course was agreat poet butt as well as great person.Fraz 3 umrahs 2 i arranged.He was very strong muslim in front of kafirs butt kafir in front of mullahs.
Bhola Fraz i burried him butt he is with me.
weda e yar ka manzar fraz yad naheen
bus aik doobta sooraj meri naza main raha

well, i want to praise his work but i fall short of words. i can only say he was the best poet for me.

aur faraz cheyah kitni muhabtein tujhay,
maoon nay tairay naam per bachoon ka naam rekh deaya

Today Sir Late Ahmed Faraz is not among us.
Dnt know how urdu peotry will fullfill his space while every one believe him as undoubtally the most accomplished,wonderful and brilliant urdu poet .He stands in the list of allama iqbal,faiz ahmed faiz but he is still different from them.i pray to ALLAH TALLAH that may his soul rest in peace.
My dad Iftikhar ahmed chaudhry was good friend of Sir Faraz.
Last night he told me many things about him that not only made me thing him as great poet even he was man of words and character.

JITNA KAHOON KEM LEGTA HAY NAVEED,
ALFAZ US KEE TAREEF MEIN KEM PERTAY HAIN.

If words lay scaterred on pieces of paper looking like thorougly refined diamonds everyone will automatically know that its Ahmad Faraz’s creation. Another masterpiece from the master of urdu poetry and one of the most important people in my life.Ahmad faraz saab is the only inspiration i have and it is because of him that i started writing at a very young age.Anways one shier for him from my heart !!

is sabab sey kay tera har lafz moti sey barh ker hai
tuney tou mujh sey shaks ko bhi apna aseer ker liya

ALLah aap ko salamt rekhey !!
